THE BRIEF

What Libas TMS is

A tailor management system for Libas ul Anwar, a tailoring and ready-made clothing business specialising in kanzus and Islamic attire. It is used by the shop's managers, tailors, secretaries and cashiers, and replaces the paper measurement book.

Measurements are stored for each person under a client account, by garment type, and each made-to-order invoice line is tied to the exact measurement it was cut from, which is what reduces cutting errors. The same system runs the shop till, fabric and stock, expenses and reports, and receives orders from the online shop with stock reserved.

SYSTEM MANUAL

How Libas TMS works

Overview

Libas TMS runs a tailoring and garment retail business specialising in kanzus and Islamic attire, trading as Libas ul Anwar in Karen. It covers made-to-order tailoring, over-the-counter sales of ready-made stock and orders from the online shop, along with fabric, inventory, expenses, payments and reports. Its main purpose is to retire the paper measurement book by linking each measurement directly to the invoice.

Who uses it

  • Admin — full access, including users, roles and company settings.
  • Manager — fabrics, ready-made collections, inventory and expenses, as well as the till.
  • Secretary and cashier — serve customers at the shop till.
  • Customers — browse the online shop and place orders.

Main modules

  • Clients and contacts — the paying account and the individual people measured under it, so one account can cover a whole family; client statements print as PDF.
  • Measurements — dimensions for each person and garment type, with revisions kept.
  • Garment types — kanzu, shirt, trouser, vest and others, each with its own measurement fields and base price, added without code changes.
  • Invoices — a step-by-step builder that picks the fabric and measurement for each line, with A4 PDF invoices, thermal receipts and payments.
  • Point of sale — a till for ready-made stock, with receipts and the client's order history.
  • Collections — the ready-made catalogue with categories, variants, images and stock.
  • Fabrics and inventory — stock levels with a movement ledger and adjust, reserve and release actions.
  • Expenses and reports — running costs and business reports.
  • Settings — company details and logo, online shop content, which products appear in the shop, and garment types.

How it works

Made to order

  1. Register the client and add each person to be measured.
  2. Record their measurements against a garment type.
  3. Build the invoice, choosing the fabric and the measurement for each line.
  4. Take payment, recorded as cash, M-Pesa, bank transfer or credit, print the thermal receipt and settle any balance later against the client statement.

Ready-made and online

  1. At the till, pick a ready-made item variant; stock is reserved and reduced through the movement ledger.
  2. Orders placed in the online shop arrive as invoices with the stock already reserved.

Integrations

  • Online shop — storefront content and product visibility are managed from Settings, and orders flow straight in as invoices.
  • Receipt and document printing — thermal receipts at the counter, plus PDF invoices, receipts and statements.

  • Web application that works on desktop and phone screens.
