What KK Empire Trades Ltd is
An online store for KK Empire Trades Ltd, a Nairobi supplier of tiles, sanitaryware, taps, sinks, adhesives and hardware for residential, commercial and industrial building. Its headline offer is complete bathroom solutions.
We designed and built the store and took on its SEO. Several hundred products are priced in shillings, and complete bathroom packages are grouped so a contractor can buy a room at a time rather than an item at a time. Shoppers add items to a cart drawer and complete the order over WhatsApp, and each order is recorded for staff to manage.
What we built
What we built
- A WooCommerce store on a custom theme with a cart drawer.
- A catalogue seeded and photographed from the client's own product lists, priced in Kenyan shillings.
- Complete bathroom packages grouped so contractors can buy a room at a time.
- WhatsApp checkout, with every order also recorded in WooCommerce for staff to manage.
- Search engine optimisation for the store.
- A WordPress back end that also supplies products and content to a separate Next.js storefront.
